Concurrent Enrollment
Want to try your hand at college before leaving high school? Concurrent enrollment might just be the solution you need. If you are in 11th or 12th grade and have made good grades throughout school or scored well on the ACT or SAT, you might consider taking credit-earning college courses while still in high school. You can enroll in college courses if you meet the admission requirements and course enrollment requirements listed below.
All Concurrent Students must submit the following documents to determine eligibility of enrollment:

Official High School Transcript
Concurrent Application
NOTE: High school seniors who meet the eligibility requirements are entitled to receive tuition waivers for up to six hours per semester from the OSRHE. In addition, OSUIT will offer tuition waivers to eligible juniors for up to six hours per semester as funds are available.
JUNIORS
Student that will be Juniors for the 2012-2013 school year must meet both of the following requirements:
Admission Requirement
21 ACT composite or 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Course Enrollment Requirements
19 sub score in the subject area of enrollment.
Classification of Junior begins the summer after the sophomore year is completed.
SENIORS
Students that will be Seniors for 2012-2013 school year must meet both of the following requirements:
Admission Requirement
19 ACT composite or 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Course Enrollment Requirements
19 sub score in the subject area of enrollment.
Classification of Senior begins the summer after the junior year is completed.

The institution offers day, evening, weekend, and online courses to allow students flexibility in planning for their educational needs. OSUIT offers a full 15-week fall, spring and summer semester as well as various eight courses during the semester. We also offer a summer interim session with 8-week courses during the months of June and July. OSU Institute of Technology general education courses often transfer to all state colleges. For verification of transferability, reference the Oklahoma State Regents Transfer matrix. The following courses are general education courses approved for concurrent enrollment based on the specific ACT sub score. Technical courses would require a 19 sub score in reading and departmental approval.
