My name is Gene Walters.  I am beginning my 41st year with Okmulgee Public Schools.  I am also a graduate of OHS with the amazing Class of 1976.  This year, I am teaching Precalculus, AP Calculus, and I will be performing other tasks at OHS.

  The AP Calculus class is governed by the objectives used by the College Board.  The Pre Calculus class is a class that is used to prepare younger students for AP Calculus and the older students for College Algebra.  The Leadership class will have to take a break this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it will return.

I am excited about the opportunites and big differences that this school year will bring.
