The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a * Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Oklahoma and northeast Oklahoma...including the following counties...in east central Oklahoma...Okfuskee. in northeast Oklahoma... Craig...Creek...Mayes...Nowata...Okmulgee...Osage...Ottawa... Pawnee...Rogers...Tulsa...Wagoner and Washington OK. * From Monday morning through Tuesday evening * Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will spread into northeast Oklahoma Monday morning, continuing Monday afternoon and evening. A secondary line of strong storms are expected Tuesday morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are likely along the I-44 corridor with locally higher amounts in areas north and west of Tulsa. * The ground remains saturated from Saturday`s storms. The additional rainfall amounts will likely lead to flash flooding, especially near low-lying areas and smaller creeks and streams. In addition, a few main stem rivers could also rise above flood depending on the areas that receive the heaviest rainfall.
